Media Tasting - Seasons Bistro

The folks there were friendly and they made us felt very welcome, thank you for the warm hospitality. We were stuffed after being served over 20 dishes altogether, some of them had an impact on me so I'll mention them down below.

Grilled Shrimp Margarita - Refreshing, appetizing and light I can easily have two servings of this to myself. The sauces and flavoring was really harmonized and also I like how their food presentation is done. Classy and presentable yet not pretentious.

Pan seared foie gras - I love this starter, and it was my favorite starter of the night. I love how the foie gras just melt in my mouth and the portion was quite generous too if you compare it against the price charged in their menu. So rich and smooth, this is one of the dishes I will head back for.

Deconstructed Salmon and Spanakopita - Salmon tasted flavorful, was not overcooked, tender and the salmon skin was what attracted me.

Mushroom & Bacon Carbonara - This particular pasta struck a deep impression on me as we all know carbonara dishes can easily make one feel that they had enough because of the strong cheesy creaminess. However this one was surprisingly mild, there was the cheesy creaminess yet light at the same time. Recommended for those who could not ever finish carbonara on their own because of the richness in the sauce.

Mac and Cheese - Adorable presentation with a generous layer of cheese atop, glad the cheese was melted evenly. I dislike it when the cheese just covers some part of the food, leaving the rest of it tasteless, and that also shows the attitude of the person preparing the food/how the said eatery maintains the quality of its food. Portion is suitable for diners who wants something light.

Pumpkin cake - One of the best cake I've had in a long time. The pumpkin taste may be heavy at fist but as it gradually subside the aftertaste leaves the fragrance of it in my mouth. So so yummy, I really dig it.

Pecan Pie with Vanilla Ice cream - This also impressed me with the fact that the pie was packed with tons of nuts, making it crunchy and definitely gratifying to munch on. The vanilla ice cream which accompanied it was also of quality. Nothing worse than a sub-standard ice cream ruining a good dessert.

Dark chocolate cake - Dark choco lovers must have! The sleek appearance was definitely attention grabbing too.

Creme brulee - A classic to end off the meal, this was so on point too. I really appreciate that Seasons Bistro has their own in-house pastry chef(s) and doesn't just outsource the desserts. Also, the desserts mentioned were really impressive and everyone should give it a try! I am sick of desserts not well done and after having their desserts made me really happy.
